Mark Hanson Crushes World Speed Juggling Record!

On December 17, 2011, at the National Guard Armory in Mason City, Mark Hanson beat the world record for 3 ball speed juggling.

The previous juggling record was held by Zdenek Bradac (Czech) at the Prinzenraub Festival in Altenburg, Germany, on 12 July 2009 with 339 catches in one minute.

Hanson, juggling at the North Iowa Youth Center “Winter Fun Festival” performed a near miraculous 417 catches in one minute besting the record by 78 catches. Witnesses included Mason City Mayor Eric Bookmeyer, Kanawha Mayor Terry Johnson, Clarion Medical Center Doctor Jon Ahrendson and timekeeper Charles Green from Mason City.

Guinness World Records has officially verified the record at 417 catches.
